Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a global manufacturing firm who have a strong focus on growth plans in the next 3-5 years, to appoint an Assistant Accountant for 12 months.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Processing AP Invoices for & deal with supplier queries
• Processing AP Payment run
• Managing Purchases Orders & reporting to various teams
• Managing Global AR function
• Reporting Global AR to relevant teams
• Processing all bank transactions
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Processing month-end journals to assist with month-end reporting function
• Monthly analysis & reporting of R&D Project costs and processing-related journals
• Taking on other ad hoc duties as required to support the team

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a Finance Assistant role
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

On offer is a competitive salary of up to £33,000 dependent on experience, and hybrid working / start and finish times to suit the right candidate.
