Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a Financial Services business based in Central Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines
• Assisting Trainee Accountants with the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  ledgers
• Overseeing the preparation of payments and expenses
• Review of Finance Assistant postings
• Preparation of financial statements
• Liaising with auditors and tax advisers and arranging timely filing of returns

Experience & Qualifications

• Part Qualified Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
• Experience in Xero and Microsoft 365
• VAT experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Remuneration

• Competitive salary + discretionary bonus
• 4.5% Pension
• 28 days holiday + bank holidays
