Rutherford Cross is working with a large, international client with an excellent reputation in their market place and a consistent drive for innovation with their products. They are looking to appoint a Group Accounts Payable Leader for a fixed period of 12 months. This exciting opportunity is offering a chance to work in a very challenging, varied contract where you will manage the Purchase to Pay function for the group and focus on driving continual improvement through a very important time for the organisation. A summary of some of the key duties are below:

• Motivate and drive a team to ensure high performance across the Group Accounts Payable function
• Overseeing the prompt processing and payment of Group Supplier invoices ensuring controls adhered to while minimising risk
• Support the business with the purchase ordering process delivering customer service in line with a centre of excellence
• Preparation of monthly reports including month end reconciliations, analysis and KPI’s
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within the function
• Liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally working closely with the Accounts Receivable Team
• Lead, manage and develop the Accounts Payable Team
