Interim Financial Accountant, Glasgow – £240 per day

Rutherford Cross are working with a private equity backed business based in Glasgow who are seeking an Interim Accountant to join them for a period of 3-6 months. This role will be varied and will involve an element of project work so the business are seeking a candidate who can be flexible to assist in a few different areas. Key aspects of the role will include:

• Reviewing current finance processes, controls and identifying risks
• Implementing efficiencies where possible
• Implementation of new IFRS standards
• Supporting with a number of projects in finance

This role requires a qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) who is technically strong with previous IFRS experience and preferably has had some exposure to Tax. Experience of carrying out project work and also identifying improvements with processes would be highly beneficial. This role is to start asap.
