Rutherford Cross is partnering with a leading international firm in Scotland to recruit a Corporate Finance Associate. This is a crucial role for the business as they continue to grow and a fantastic opportunity to join a leading practice in Scotland.

You may well be currently in an audit or tax role and keen to develop commercially. This opportunity would allow you to work on deals and uncover opportunities to work with high growth businesses. You can expect to work with multinationals and also smaller entrepreneurial business within the energy industry. Most importantly the quality of work that you will have access to and international exposure is fantastic and can only be matched by London. This opportunity would provide an unbeatable grounding in corporate finance within Scotland.

No day is ever the same and you will get involved with a huge variety of work from buying businesses, selling businesses, providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, management buy ins/outs as well as raising finance to support business’ plans. You will act as a trusted advisor, highlighting and exploring options with clients and advising and project managing the selected solution.  Working as part of a highly experienced senior advisory team you will be part of a leading firm with endless opportunities to succeed.

You will be a newly qualified professional who has ambitions to work with one of the leading investment banking services firm for the energy industry. Crucially you will be able to demonstrate your energy, drive and enthusiasm for this opportunity and the desire to enhance your expertise and knowledge. The role demands strong analytical and creative problem- solving abilities as well as self-confidence and excellent communication skills.
