Rutherford Cross's client are a well-known residential property sales and development business situated in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to bring on board a Financial Modelling Analyst.
The Opportunity
Our client has an ongoing focus on the residential development market and hold a number of key relationships in the sector for land acquisition and development. Reporting to the Director of Consultancy & Structured Finance your role will be solely responsible for building bespoke financial models for clients. These models will have the capability of covering the full life cycle of residential development from land acquisition, construction, asset operation and/or exit strategy.
Candidate Requirements
Our client is keen to recruit a self-motivated, and commercially astute individual who is keen to develop their skill-set within the property sector on the Central Belt of Scotland. It would be expected that the successful candidate would have previous exposure to financial modelling and either come from a professional services environment in Accounting or have relevant industry experience within the property sector, this may also include relevant commercial experience in quantity surveying. A key area of this role will require the successful candidate to present on data from these models, work with clients closely on these models and manage a number of possible outcomes from each project with regards to exit strategy and sale or potential future residential letting.
- Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of financial modelling
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated attitude towards the task in hand who will also challenge ideas and work collaboratively with the project teams to achieve the desired outcome
