Commercial Finance Analyst

We are currently engaged a leading financial services provider who is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Analyst to join their Commercial finance team based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop financial systems to provide standard costing and efficiency analysis for business activities to understand true operating profit and report effectively on variances
• Providing analysis with full understanding of the various cost drivers to support the business in driving efficiency
• Producing quality and timely annual cost plans
• Working closely with various budget holders to ensure costs are fully understood, monitored and controlled on a regular basis
• Providing insightful analysis so that internal stakeholders can make fully informed and business critical decisions
• Ensuring models are accurate, up-to-date and maintained in line with model management framework and policies

Successful Candidates will posses the following:

• Qualified with 1- 2 year’s experience - Preferably coming from with a Commercial Finance back ground
• Previous experience in financial planning, management accounting or financial modelling
• A proven ability to influence and engage with management and senior management level
