Our rapidly expanding client is seeking a qualified accountant to fulfil a key role in their Head Office finance team. A successful candidate for this role will ideally have industry experience and have the ambition to develop professionally as the client is keen to include the individual in successor planning.

Specifically, this will involve:

• Provide financial support to line manager and non-financial stakeholders within the business
• Providing consistent, accurate & timely management accounting information
• Analysis of underlying run rates, identifying non-recurring items and anticipating future trends etc
• Maintaining the proper control environment and documented procedures including balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analysis
• Collation & dissemination of monthly reports
• Participation in ad-hoc projects
• Providing support to the Finance Business Partners
• Ensure effective communication processes are established and maintained with other members of the department
• Develop close working relationships with key business managers

A summary of key individual requirements are as follows:

• Qualified accountant, ideally with 2-5 years’ PQE
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines & thrive under pressure
• High level of organisational and time management skills to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional and credible with senior management
• Ability to interact with influence and impact at all levels
• Reliable and resilient with ability to thrive in a dynamic & changing environment
• Effective and confident communication and presentation skills
