Rutherford Cross is partnering with a leading international firm in Scotland to recruit a Manager with a strong background in due diligence and insolvency. This is a crucial role for the business as they continue to grow and a fantastic opportunity to join a leading practice in Scotland. Specialising in providing advice to lenders and organisations in financial and operational distress you will assist and implement turnaround strategies.

The firm have a real appetite for sustainable growth and have recently won a number of competitive tenders through their own unique and ambitious approach.  They are in a very strong position for the future and have an effective succession plan in place to continue to grow the Scottish practice. The current emphasis of the firm is on developing business development capability right from the top down.

This opportunity would allow you to work on a wide range of projects including transactional work, due diligence, refinancing/ AMA and corporate insolvency. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting deals and uncover opportunities to work with high growth businesses. You will act as a trusted advisor, highlighting and exploring options with clients and advising and project managing the selected solution.  Working as part of a highly experienced senior advisory team you will be part of a leading firm with endless opportunities to succeed.

You will have previous experience in some or all of transaction advisory services, lead advisory, restructuring or insolvency. Crucially you will be able to demonstrate your energy, drive and enthusiasm for this opportunity and the desire to enhance your expertise and knowledge. The role demands strong analytical and creative problem- solving abilities as well as self-confidence and excellent communication skills.
