Rutherford Cross are pleased to be partnered with a highly successful Scottish business in order to a Commercial Finance Manager. The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for producing the P&L and other various reports, business partnering with various stakeholders and driving business performance whilst ensuring appropriate governance. Ideally, this role would suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who has prior experience working in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Generate period results for distribution and presentation to the Management Team and Operations Team
• Produce the budget and forecasts
• Provide finance support & challenge to the Operations team to drive performance and achieve business targets
• Develop, improve & embed commercial performance reporting
• Design and implement governance & controls
• Provide insightful analysis to the teams to aid commercial decision making
• Investment appraisal and post project performance measurement
• Identify and recommend process improvements across the business and work with stakeholders to develop solutions

The Individual:

• Part qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate.
• Proven experience of managing and prioritizing a varied workload
• Application of Financial & Accounting Principles
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate finance information to non-finance employees
• Proficient in Excel
• Proactive individual who is eager to learn about the commercial aspects of the business and develop their skill set
