Interim Financial Controller job with an SME based in South Lanarkshire for an initial 3-month period. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the Finance department to ensure that the ledgers are accurate, timely and comply with all relevant accounting standards and policies
• Coordinate preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
• Present monthly statements which identify results, trends, and forecasted performance
• Manage working capital and cash flow to ensure liquidity of the business
• Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met
• Ensure new structure is reported properly
• Overseeing the audit process to ensure statutory accounts are submitted in a timely manner
• Reporting into MD and be a key part of the operational board

The Individual:

• Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with prior experience in a similar role
• Effective leadership skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Must be immediately available for work
