Interim Senior Management Accountant job (Hybrid) with our client based just outside of Glasgow for a 6-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• The preparation of monthly management accounts with appropriate variance analysis and commentary
• The production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with project review process, including cost reporting, and maintaining project review documents
• Taking a key role in the preparation and delivery of the year end accounts and provision of supplementary accounting information
• Work closely and collaboratively with the wider finance team to continually improve management information to meet the changing requirements of the business
• Regularly consulting with operational managers
• Monitoring spending, costs, and budgets
• Supporting with the annual budget preparation
• Management of two finance staff
• Ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to accounting within industry and bring strong Excel and systems knowledge. The ability to manage own workload effectively whilst adhering to tight deadlines is key for this role combined with experience managing a small team.
