Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Assistant job with our Not-for-Profit client based in Edinburgh. This role will be for a 6-month period reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis. The key responsibilities are:

• Providing support to the FP&A team through administrative and analytical assistance for the preparation of the three-year budget
• Assisting with the issue of budget template spreadsheets to budget holders
• Monitoring the return of completed budget template spreadsheet by agreed deadlines
• Liaising with budget holders to confirm any discrepancies in budget submission
• Supporting the FP&A team with monthly performance reporting against the 23/24 budget
• Assisting with financial modelling
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance team

To apply you will be a Part-Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with solid systems knowledge. You will work well on your own initiative and be comfortable liaising with key stakeholders within the Finance Function. This job will be 3 days per week in Edinburgh with 2 days from home. This role will begin in August with a salary of £25,000 - £30,000p.a.
