Description

Our client is seeking an experienced, qualified accountant to run a business critical project over an 8 month period. The key deliverable is to identify, document and map all finance business processes and implement new, more effective working methods.

In addition, this will involve training and supporting finance process owners to ensure ongoing ownership and maintenance of the implemented framework.

To apply for this role, you will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of business process reengineering, coupled with sound project management skills and a background in change environments. Although this is very much a hands-on, detail orientated process role, it is critical that applicants are very commercially and operationally minded and able assess the “bigger picture” across the company as a whole.

You will be a confident communicator who is able to develop robust working relationships quickly and implement practical, easily understood solutions. In addition, highly developed analytical and problem solving skills are paramount.

The client requires someone very quickly and therefore applicants must be either available immediately or at very short notice (i.e. one week maximum). A proven track record in interim management and completing similar assignments would be preferred.
