Interim Senior Management Accountant job for a 6-month period with our public sector client based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Operating as a Finance Business Partner to Departmental Manager
• Analysis of variances between actual financial performance against budget
• Monitoring of contracts, cost and forecasts for the operation
• Provision of budgetary reports for individual Directors and Senior Managers
• Support the financial planning process for the department
• Preparation of statutory accounts for the department

To apply you must be a fully qualified Accountant and have worked in the public sector previously, either in Local Government or NHS. You will have first class stakeholder management skills and have excellent Excel skills. Salary: circa £40,000 per annum.
