Background to the Opportunity

The opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst/Business Partner to join our client’s Finance Team. It is a temp role working with a large UK business in the energy sector.

Our client is based in city of Edinburgh.

The Role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and updating group financial models
• Preparing monthly management reports including UK management accounts and consolidated shareholder reports
• Preparing quarterly Bondholder Presentation deck in partnership with colleagues in Treasury
• Supporting the annual business planning processes and quarterly re-forecasts
• Maintaining and updating group liquidity model used to monitor and forecast cash flow
• Other ad hoc corporate reporting activities dependent on business needs
• Responsibility for TM1 processes within BPA Reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with financial model experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Energy Industry experience preferred but not essential
• Understanding and practical experience of TM1
