Interim Head of Credit Management

Interim Head of Credit Management job with our client based in the central belt of Scotland. This assignment is for an initial 3 month period and the postholder will be responsible for:

• All Credit Control activities for the business with customers UK wide
• Leading, managing and supervising a large B2B Credit team based across various sites
• Manage the team to minimise bad debts and maximise cash flow through effective credit control
• Devising KPI’s to deliver Credit Collection objectives and also to measure the performance of the team
• Analysis of aged debt and developing innovative collection strategies
• Assessment of new customers for the business
• Liaison with Senior Management in other departments across the organisation and key stakeholders externally
• Working closely with the leadership team to shape credit policy and drive the strategy
• Identify and implement improvements to current credit control processes
• Preparation of management reports for presentation to Senior Management
• Candidate requirements

• You will be a highly experienced Credit Manager having held a Head of Credit role previously
• Extensive experience of managing large teams of Credit Control professionals, ideally a team of more than 30
• Previous experience of B2B collections
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise at Board level
• Experience of credit risk management for both large, medium and small businesses
