Interim Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well established, privately owned organisation. This is a broad and varied on-site Accountant role, based in Edinburgh.

This organisation is looking to speak to detail driven finance professionals who enjoy being hands-on, supporting decision making and adding value across multiple business areas. This is a great environment for someone who thrives in a tight-knit team and wants genuine role variety.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing sales and purchase invoices, expenses
• Monthly bank reconciliations and payments
• Debtor and creditor reporting
• Preparing and filing VAT
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management accounts
• Preparing month-end journals including accruals and prepayments
• Liaising with auditors at year-end

About You

• Qualified, part qualified or QBE
• Excellent IT skills; confidence learning new systems (knowledge of Xero or advantageous)

About the Role

• Salary: £250 per day
• Interim
• Potential Temp to Perm
• Hybrid possibilities
