Interim Financial Controller (12-months)

Interim Financial Controller job on an initial 12 month contract. This role is with an Edinburgh based organisation, on site four days per week and offering a salary of up to £70,000. This role is due to start in October.

You will be reporting to the Finance Director while having full oversight of the day-to-day work of the wider finance team.

Key responsibilities and experience required:

• Qualified accountant
• Leadership and supervision of a finance team
• Timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliation
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Liaising with external auditors
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Review of payroll and pension
• Experience with stock management is highly desired
