Rutherford Cross Retained by Whyte & Mackay to Appoint Commercial Finance Business Partner

Rutherford Cross is thrilled to have been retained by our long-standing client, Whyte & Mackay, to appoint a Commercial Finance Business Partner for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

Founded in Glasgow, Whyte & Mackay is a global leader in whisky and home to a collection of multi-award-winning brands, including The Dalmore, Fettercairn, Jura, and Tamnavulin. The company was established with a vision to create a superior Scotch for the community of Glasgow. Today, that commitment to fostering connections and community remains central to everything they do.

This is a rare opportunity, ideal for a newly or recently qualified accountant from a Big 4 or top 10 firm. We are particularly looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a natural commercial acumen. This is an excellent chance to join a respected commercial finance team led by Anila Jayaraman and collaborate with several high-calibre professionals. While the role is initially a 12-month FTC, there is potential for it to become permanent.

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing timely and accurate commercial information to the Sales & Marketing teams. This includes planning, budgeting/forecasting, reporting, analysis, and offering general commercial and financial support. The role will add significant value to the wider business through strong analytical abilities and commercial insight.
