Interim Finance Business Partner job with an executive agency of the government for an initial 3-month hybrid contract in Edinburgh City Centre. You will be working to ensure the organisation's financial position is well managed and decisions are good value for money. You will provide advice on compliance with policy, standards, accountabilities and controls to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities and Criteria:

• Qualified Accountant
• Supporting the budgetary management of a £50mn Directorate
• Experience working on change programmes within evolving finance departments
• Management accounts, monitoring monthly spend, forecasting
• Conducting financial reviews with budget holders and provide guidance at meetings and boards
• Owning and adding insight to financial data with the view to support business activities and requirements, while providing advice on compliance
• Business partnering with stakeholders from different programmes and business units
• Previous background of working with a public body is desirable

Salary: £250-275 per day
