Interim Statutory Accountant job based in Glasgow City Centre for an initial 3-month period.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and review of year-end financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards
• Supporting with month-end closing duties as required
• Liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
• Review and submission of monthly VAT returns
• Ad hoc duties

The Individual:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proven experience in financial / statutory accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Available at short notice
