Interim Cost Accountant opportunity with our Edinburgh-based client. This role is for a 6-month period and will report directly into the Finance Director.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Supporting the capital investment appraisals and financial analysis
• Responsible for cost management, both operating and capital
• Producing commercial forecast submissions and variance analysis
• Providing manufacturing variance analysis
• Producing the calculation of absorption rates and product standards cost
• Assisting with the annual budget process
• Ad hoc support with the new ERP system implementation project

To apply you, will be an experienced cost accountant with some experience in manufacturing. You will be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, and comfortable liaising with key stakeholders across all levels of the business. This role is hybrid working with 3 days a week minimum on-site in Edinburgh.

Immediate start date, salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a.
