Description

Interim Payroll Consultant job with our Edinburgh-based key client. This role will be for an initial 6 months and report directly to the HR Business Partner.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Create and implement process improvements and ensure compliance in line with reporting standards
  • Liaise with outsourced suppliers on the introduction of the new fully managed payroll service
  • Lead the overall payroll team with 2 direct payroll team lead reports
  • Support with the monthly payroll activities to provide assurance on the operational process checks
  • Oversee payroll cycles including processing, reporting, controls and analysis
  • Ad hoc support with the evolution of the payroll systems change

To apply, you will be an experienced payroll specialist with in-depth knowledge of payroll systems and processes. You will be confident managing a team and liaising with both internal and external key stakeholders. You will have a track record of technical skills and knowledge with a high attention to detail. This role will commence in early April and supports flexible hybrid working.

Salary: Competitive daily rate inside IR35.
