Description
Interim Financial Accountant job (Hybrid) with an established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre for an initial 3-month period.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Finance team with the transition from IFRS to FREM and conducting a detailed assessment of FREM reporting requirements
- Using advanced Excel and Word to create an effective Statutory Accounting pack based on FREM reporting requirements
- Supporting the Statutory year-end and group year-end process
- Liaising with External Auditors
- Ad hoc duties as required
To apply, you will be a fully Qualified Accountant with strong technical ability, including knowledge of IFRS and FREM. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing Statutory Accounts, enjoy working in a project-based role and be able to take a logical and methodical approach to the task. Advanced Excel skills are essential for this position. This role supports a hybrid working model with 2-3 days required on-site per week. Salary: Up to £55,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
