Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a highly reputable company who are looking to add a Finance Analyst to their existing team. This role offers a hybrid working approach where you have 1 day in the office versus 4 days at home.

This role is best suited to a part qualified or qualified by experience accountant from industry or practice with strong analytical skills who is looking to further their career within the accounting space.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing month-end accounting information and providing commentary to assist in companywide financial decision-making
• Analysing project data to ensure assets are correctly capitalised within accounting standards on the fixed asset register
• Business partnering with teams throughout the wider business
• Analysing month-end accruals and overheads
• Producing variance analysis of actual vs budget forecasts
• Supporting the team manager with skill sharing and coaching of team members

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• A part / newly qualified accountant
• Able to demonstrate experience of the above responsibilities
• Experienced in business partnering
• Highly numerate
• A team player
• Able to work to strict deadlines

Desirables:

• Previous experience in analytical tools, Power BI, Oracle, Oracle Projects, Fusion Analytics etc
• Previous experience in working in a capital-intensive environment
• Strong understanding of fixed assets
