Rutherford Cross is working with a central Glasgow-based organisation focused on growth and expansion to recruit an FP&A Accountant. Joining a small but growing team, you will be focused on leading certain areas of forecasting and budgeting and providing analysis and insights with supporting commentary.

A summary of some of the key duties are below:

• Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially those relating to financial metrics such as Revenue, Compensation, Operating Expenses, Growth and Margin
• Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives
• Provide analysis and commentary to the Executive Group (UK and US) on the Business Plan; Budget and Forecasts
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections and forecasting
• Ability to use, and may be required to implement, business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
• Provide analysis of P&L costings and trending analysis
• Ad Hoc analysis; reporting and presentations, as required

For this role, the company are seeking a qualified accountant who can demonstrate strong commerciality and ability to give valuable business insight. Prior experience in an FP&A focused or Commercial Finance focused role would be highly advantageous. Excellent Excel skills will be key for this role.
