The Role

The Finance Business Partner position is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a market leading, ambitious business, where the post-holder will play a key role in influencing operational decision-making. The Finance Business Partner will act as the primary finance liaison for the collections and offshore servicing teams. The post holder will also support the heads of departments to maximise their impact and deliver a high quality, customer focused finance partnering service to stakeholders, including support to operational decision making, ensuring cost efficiency, producing forecasts, budgets and insightful analysis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
  • Overseeing trend and variance analysis and explaining potential impacts to the business
  • Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
  • Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
  • Regularly updating the forecasting model as the business progresses/changes
  • Designing models to assess arising business opportunities, acquisitions and mergers
  • Developing and implementing supplementary business models that forecast significant business drivers on an independent basis which allows for scenario planning
  • Monitoring and reporting KPIs for key business units
  • Building models to assist in operational and strategic decision making
  • Flex existing business forecasting to incorporate new business dynamics, risks and opportunities
  • Exec and Senior level stakeholder managing and presenting

 

The Individual

Creditfix is looking to appoint a driven and experienced Finance Business Partner to support the company as it implements a new operating model and continues to grow.

Essential Experience

  • An experienced and appropriately qualified accountant with a proven track record of success within a similar, challenging role
  • A dynamic, driven and proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced business and can adapt to change in strategy
  • A strong relationship builder who can gain buy-in from the wider business
  • Strong financial modelling skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement

Remuneration

Salary: £Competitive

Holidays: 29 days holiday (including English bank holidays + Scottish New Year), increasing by 3 days after 2 years continuous service 

Professional Fees: Paid 

Pension:  3% Employer Contribution

Working Hours: Hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Private Healthcare: Vitality - For Individual or for Family

Annual Bonus: Discretionary
