Interim Statutory Accountant job (Hybrid) with our Glasgow based client for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of board reporting
• Technical accounting papers
• Liaison with external auditors
• FCA regulatory reporting
• Reviewing reconciliations of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
• Impairment and earn out calculations
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Ad hoc projects as required e.g., liquidation/dissolution of entities and assisting with acquisitions

To apply, you will be a Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting capabilities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with UK/US GAAP accounting standards and be proficient in Excel. The post holder should be comfortable working to tight deadlines within a demanding environment and have the flexibility to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience working for a large accounting or audit firm would be desirable. Salary: DOE.
