Interim Assistant Financial Accountant job (Hybrid) with our Glasgow based client for an initial 3-6-month period. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Financial Accountants in the timely and accurate submission of all statutory and management accounting and reporting
• Assisting with all fiscal and tax compliance reporting and submissions according to local requirements
• Providing support for weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
• Ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month
• Supporting both internal and external audits including review of internal controls and policies
• Driving forward process improvements across the team

Applications are welcomed from Accountants with exposure working within a fast moving financial and management accounting function. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively in order to meet financial deadlines. You will also demonstrate sound knowledge of Excel and have experience using finance systems. This role offers hybrid working with only 1 day per week required on site. Salary: up to £33,000 p.a.
