Interim Financial Accountant, Edinburgh

Interim Financial Accountant role with our Edinburgh based client for an initial 6 month period. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and have line management responsibility. The key duties of this role are:

• Prepare the Statutory Accounts in line with IFRS regulations
• Complete and submit consolidation pack to key senior stakeholders
• Ensure that financial frameworks are in place for accurate and timely financial management
• Produce accurate and timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders ensuring that this is compliant and in line with legislation
• Produce accurate and relevant financial reports
• Ensure that policies and procedures are in place to support the financial reporting function
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance function where required

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in producing statutory accounts. You will have financial expertise across all aspects of financial reporting including accounts payable, treasury and VAT, and have strong excel skills. You will have good written and verbal communication and be confident liaising with key stakeholders of all levels. This role will support hybrid working and begin in March. Salary: £47,000 - £57,000 p.a.
