Interim Head of Finance (3-4 days per week)

Interim Head of Finance (3-4 days per week) job with our innovative client based in Glasgow city centre who are about to enter a scale up phase. The role duration is for an initial 4-5 months.

Reporting to the CFO, main duties and responsibilities include:

• Management of the finance function and a team of 5
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Production of annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Lead consolidated business budgeting and forecasting to support short, medium- and long-term business planning in collaboration with all key stakeholders
• Review and analyse performance including budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and provision of other relevant meaningful and useful information to support achievement of business goals
• Apply appropriate governance, processes and procedures across the business in order to maintain a robust control framework and minimise risk
• Drive performance of the ERP system to meet financial and business requirements

To apply you will be a qualified Accountant, experienced in leading and managing a finance team. You will be extremely hands on and will have previously worked in a manufacturing or FMCG business. Salary: £70,000-£80,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
