Ireland’s culture is world renowned, no matter where you are in the world you will undoubtedly find an Irish bar somewhere! From the stereotype of drinking Guinness to the friendly and welcoming people, Ireland is regarded as one of the Celtic ‘nations’ of Europe. Ireland can offer the bustling city of Dublin where there is always something to do, or many hills and ragged peninsulas for the outdoor and adventurous type. Ireland ranks among the wealthiest counties in the world in terms of GDP per capita and after joining the European Union in 1973, Ireland enacted a series of liberal economic policies that resulted in rapid economic growth until the global economic crash in 2008. Although still recovering from the economic crash, Ireland remains one of the world’s most prosperous nations with a shift from being predominantly agricultural driven to having more of a focus on high technology industries and services. Ireland has witnessed an increase in foreign investment and attracted several multinational corporations due to the low corporation tax rate, including Intel, Microsoft, Google and Facebook. The financial services industry also plays a large part in the Irish economy.
To be considered for this role you must have at least 3 years in tax – with the majority being in transfer pricing. Ideally having worked for a leading firm and an EU passport is essential at this stage. This role is ideal for someone looking to help develop processes and be part of a growing and changing team given the market changes and growth happening in Ireland.
Due to the high level of applicants we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted at this time.
