Rutherford Cross is partnering with a leading international firm in Scotland to recruit a Corporate Finance Associate. This is a crucial role for the business as they continue to grow and a fantastic opportunity to join a leading practice in Scotland.
This opportunity would allow you to work on deals and uncover opportunities to work with high growth businesses. You can expect to work with multinationals and also smaller entrepreneurial business within the energy industry. No day is ever the same and you will get involved with a huge variety of work from buying businesses, selling businesses, providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, management buy ins/outs as well as raising finance to support business’ plans. You will act as a trusted advisor, highlighting and exploring options with clients and advising and project managing the selected solution. Working as part of a highly experienced senior advisory team you will be part of a leading firm with endless opportunities to succeed.
You will be a recently qualified accountant (c2-3 years PQE) who has ambitions to work with a leading investment banking services firm. Crucially you will be able to demonstrate your energy, drive and enthusiasm for this opportunity and the desire to enhance your expertise and knowledge. The role demands strong analytical and creative problem- solving abilities as well as self-confidence and excellent communication skills.
