Rutherford Cross have been engaged to a recruit a Financial Accountant with a Glasgow city centre client. This privately owned business are experiencing high growth and have ambitious plans for continued expansion.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Preparation of forecasts, budgets and management information for the Directors
• Purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Costing of projects and new commercial ventures
• Reviewing commercial reports and KPI reports
• Liaison with the bank and other key external stakeholders

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant with a desire to work in an ambitious growing business with projected turnover of over £40m. You will have strong technical skills and interpersonal abilities.
