Accountant

Rutherford Cross is currently recruiting an Accountant for a FMCG organisation going through continued growth based in Glasgow.

The Opportunity

This is a key position within the finance team and will be responsible for ‘value adding’ across various areas. It requires a high calibre individual with tenacity, drive, charisma and the ability to be versatile. In addition, the organisation will provide a firm career platform with excellent future opportunities for personal development and progression.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation Monthly Management Accounts
• Variance Analysis and commentary
• KPI review
• Fixed asset review
• Half year forecasting preparation
• Annual Budget preparation and commentary
• Annual stats and tax completion
• Train and support accounts assistants
• Involvement in ad-hoc projects

Remuneration

A salary of £28,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience).
