Description

Rutherford Cross is working with a fast- growing, acquisitive business, based on the outskirts of Glasgow, seeking to recruit a Deputy Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Controller . The position will give the successful candidate responsibility for all month end reporting and managing a team of 3.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:
•Delivery of month end process, within strict deadlines, ensuring the integrity of all financial reporting
•Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
•Managing all cash balances
•Playing a key part in process improvement, taking a proactive approach
•Manage a small finance team of 3 individuals
•Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across a variety of departments

Successful Candidates will possess:
•Strong Excel skills with the ability to assist in the creation of financial models
•The ability to lead and motivate a small finance team
•CA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, or at advanced stages

Benefits package includes:
•Salary of £33,000-£35,000
•Discretionary bonus scheme
•Defined contribution pension scheme
•22 days’ annual leave plus 8 days statutory holiday, increasing with time served
