Interim Finance Transactions Manager

Interim Finance Transactions Manager job with our Edinburgh based client, to cover while our client recruit permanently. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing a sizeable team in AP, AR and Payroll
• Preparing monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Ensuring the efficient processing of transactions
• Ongoing improvement of processes and procedures and development of ERP system
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the finance department
• Support Financial Planning and Capital Projects
• Complex Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Reconciliation of AP, AR and General Ledger
• Monitoring of cash flow and cash flow forecasting

To apply you must be a qualified Accountant with a strong grounding in AP, AR and Financial Accounting. You will have considerable experience leading transactional processing teams and have first class communication skills. This may be from a shared service centre background or from another large-scale business. Day Rate equivalent of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
