Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with a leading, national chartered accountancy firm which due to a series of internal promotions, is looking to recruit a trainee / part qualified accountant with 1-2 years’ experience gained working in the profession either within Accounts or Audit.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable, growing firm based in the city centre of Edinburgh. The role will enable you to gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio, key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing full sets of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and charities
- Supporting the seniors on audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork and completion
- Preparing management accounts, including commentary and analysis
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Building client relationships

In order to be considered for the role you will need to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working for a chartered accountancy firm within accounts or audit and preferably will be studying towards your ACCA/CA qualification. Alternatively, if you have experience in the profession and looking to start your traineeship this could also be for you!
