Background to the Opportunity

The opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join our client's Finance Team on temporary basis. This position will report to Group FP&A.

Our client is a large, private, Edinburgh-based FMCG company with an established reputation.

The Role

The position requires a self-starting and competent finance professional.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Collation of data from different regions globally
• Challenging integrity of data with key internal stakeholders
• Uploading of data into established financial models
• Analysis of complex data against KPI’s
• Analysis of year-to-date against budget
• Preparation of management accounting information
• Analysis of commercial information and production of budgets and forecasts
• Use of this information to support the preparation of board reports

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant
• Previous Financial Analysis experience
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Advanced Excel user
• Exceptional communication skills
