Rutherford Cross is working with a central Glasgow based organisation who are continually evolving and growing and as such are looking to add some interim support to their well-established finance team to focus on a particular project. This Management Accountant job will be to work on a specific and high profile change project and will provide an interesting contract with exposure to both finance and transformation. Expected duration will be 3-6 months but could be longer. A summary of some of the key aspects of the role will include:

• Developing detailed cost benefit analysis including sensitivity testing and developing scenarios
• Developing business cases and presenting the supporting financial analysis and the options appraisal
• Working with others across both finance and other teams, helping to develop outputs to challenge timescales and quality
• Managing high volume data in relation to costs and working to reshape to align to the project

This role will suit a Qualified Accountant – CA/ACCA/CIMA with recent experience in a management accounting role with exposure to working on a change project. Financial analysis skills are key as well as the ability to work across different functions, providing support and also able to manage a high volume workload with set timescales.
