Senior Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a business who have gone through significant growth and expansion and are a continually evolving and  prominent player in their market. Due to a secondment they are keen to take on a Senior Management Accountant for a 6 month period.

Key aspects of this role will include:

• Providing accurate management accounts within the tight reporting deadlines for a key region of the business
• Review reconciliations to verify the accuracy of management accounts
• Monitor KPIs and take action to address areas of underperformance in teams
• Drive forward change to ensure that the department and team members improve
• Allocate work to team members in an efficient manner and ensure all deadlines and key priorities are met
• Motivate and lead team members
• Assist with Board Pack preparation and support to Statutory accounts team on variance analysis of numbers and review of management position to legal entity position
• Ensure SoX requirements are fully met
• Produce ad-hoc reports and completion of technical tasks as requested
• Assist with budget and forecast preparation to senior management

This Senior Management Accountant job requires a fully qualified accountant who has previous experience of managing a small team and recent experience of hands on management accounts preparation. The client is keen to secure a candidate asap.

Day Rate: £250 - £300
