An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial & Commercial Group Auditor to join a large Scottish listed company based in their Glasgow office. You will join an established internal audit team acting as a positive catalyst for change through providing constructive appraisal, insight and challenge. You will partner with different areas within the business and senior management to promote risk awareness and ensure there is an effective control environment.
Working closely with business managers and corporate functions you will take responsibility for planning and conducting a programme of independent value adding risk based internal audits, delivering executive level reports and agreeing effective plans for improvement throughout the organisation. There will be opportunities to work on special projects and reviews with opportunity to actively contribute to the continual development of internal audit procedures, planning processes and quality standards.
In this role you will gain exposure to senior management and to all Group businesses. You will obtain a unique insight to the major risks and opportunities for the organisation and the key strategies, operations, and management processes which contribute to its on-going success.
To be considered for this position you will demonstrate a willingness to challenge processes in a constructive and analytical manner, maintain good verbal and written communication skills. You will be well organised, flexible and have an ability to deliver within agreed timescales. Ideally, you'll be a qualified /part-qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/ACA) or internal auditor with relevant experience and a keen interest in risk and control, with assistance for further development in these areas also available.

In return you will be offered a competitive basic salary £35,000 – £46,000, generous holiday allowance, chare plans, pension pen and tailored development opportunities.
