Interim Financial Accountant

Rutherford Cross is working with an international organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to add an interim Financial Accountant to their team. This interim role will be ongoing for up to a year. Working as part of a large finance team, a summary of some of the main duties are below:

• Preparation of annual financial statements for multiple countries and high volume of different entities
• Month end reporting including submitting journals
• Preparation of financial statements
• Main reference point for accounting information and controls
• Responding to day to day accounting queries
• Liaison with other stakeholders during the year end external accounting process
• Liaison with local auditors
• Liaison with external tax advisors regarding preparation of the provisions and tax filings
• Administration of other taxes
• Preparation and filing of accounting returns
• Adhoc project work

This role requires a fully qualified accountant – CA/ACCA/CIMA with recent experience in preparing financial accounts and liasing with auditors preferably in a large, complex business. A knowledge of tax would be beneficial as would international accounting exposure.
