Description
Rutherford Cross is working with a not for profit organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to take on a Management Accountant to cover a secondment for a 12 month period. Working with a prestigious and influential organisation you will be part of a small finance team where you will be an integral part of the senior team. As Management Accountant some of the key duties you will be involved in will be:
- Processing of management accounts
- Providing insight and analysis/commentary around the monthly accounts
- Analysis of expenses
- Analysis of transactions – working with team members to ensure correct postings/allocations/reconciliations
- Providing reports to Head of Finance
This role requires a candidate with recent experience of processing management accounts and providing analysis as there can be some quite complex reporting involved and strict timelines to be met. Although not having direct staff management responsibility this position is viewed at a senior level in the team and might involve some supervisory work on occasion. On offer is a really interesting long term contract with some flexibility around working hours.
