Background to the Opportunity

The opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join our client's Purchase Ledger team on a permanent basis.

The Role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Process multi-currency supplier invoices on Sage X3
• Review staff expenses to ensure they comply with our policies
• Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorised in a timely manner
• Create payment proposals ensuring our suppliers are paid on time
• Help to resolve queries both internally and with external suppliers
• Participate in team projects and actively identify process improvements
• Ensure that record keeping systems and processes comply with legal & EU requirements so that transactions can be easily checked

The Candidate

• Previous purchase ledger experience with multi-currency transactions
• Experience with accounting software - Sage X3 would be an advantage
• Strong computer literacy and Excel expertise
• A proven track record in a Finance department
• A passion for numbers
• Experience of working to tight deadlines with a busy workload
• A keen eye for detail and extremely organised approach
• The ability to proactively apply new techniques to the role as you see fit
• Confidence in interacting with people at all levels
• The ability to work in a dynamic, culturally diverse and fast paced environment
