Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller job for a 4-5 month period with our Edinburgh based client. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet for this growing sme
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Cashflow management and forecasting and liaison with the bank
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT Returns and payroll for the business
• Forecasting and planning to support business growth
• Preparing business cases to secure capital expenditure
• Supervision of a small finance team
• Implementing improvements in processes and procedures

To apply you must be a Qualified Accountant, be extremely hands on in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts probably from within an sme previously. You will also be able to display a track record in improving processes and systems and will have excellent stakeholder skills. Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 or day rate equivalent.
