Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a highly reputable and well known organisation who are looking to add an Oracle Functional Lead to their team on an interim basis for 6 months. This Functional Lead role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with the implementation partners of the business and learn, adopt and develop the new Oracle Projects Module. This role will have broad exposure to different contacts across the organisation to understand needs and then design and implement the required solution. A summary of some of the key duties are below:

 

  • Working with workstream lead and consultants to design, develop, test and implement the Oracle Projects module
  • Creating the required Project documentation
  • Provide support to cross stream activities such as testing, training and change management
  • Identify any risks and action appropriately
  • Engage with colleagues across the business on matters arising from system design, configuration, testing and implementation
  • Ensure processes implemented are in line with those agreed in the Process Design Documentation

 

This role requires a candidate with a strong background in working with ERP systems and ideally Oracle. A strong knowledge of finance is important as well as being able to work to project timescales and meet deadlines. The role requires good problem solving and decision making ability and will involve communicating and interacting with a wide range of contacts across the business.
