Established in 1979, Highland Spring Group is an independent business and a leading producer of natural source water employing approx. 430 people across Scotland, Wales and England.
Highland Spring Group produces brands including Highland Spring, Hydr8 and a range of private label flavoured and unflavoured waters for some of the UK’s major supermarkets and food service retailers.
One of the many things that makes Highland Spring special is its protected, organically accredited catchment area – stretching across over 2,500 acres of the beautiful Ochil Hills in Perthshire. The land has nothing but nature on it and allows the rainfall to filter naturally over many years through the rock to depths of up to 300 feet before making it’s way to our bottling plant and into bottles in it’s natural source condition.
The land is kept free from any kind of pollution, pesticides or habitation to ensure the water drawn is as pure as can be. In fact, Highland Spring was the first natural source bottled water brand in the UK to have its catchment area certified as organic by the Soil Association, ensuring every drop of Highland Spring water is just as nature intended. At the end of 2020, The Good Shopping Guide named Highland Spring the leading ethical bottled water brand in the UK for the thirteenth year in a row with a top ranking score of 100%.
