Interim Management Accountant job (Hybrid) with a high growth, global business based in Glasgow. This role is for a 6-month period. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Local finance month end activities including the preparation of monthly management accounts, journal postings, reconciliations, analysis, accruals, and prepayments
• Act as the central finance contact within the team
• Lead the planning, analysis, and integration of the acquisition at all stages from initial introduction to closing
• Identify opportunities for automation of controls, systems, and processes
• Implementation of robust integration controls, systems, and processes
• Compliance with internal controls
• Management of the due diligence process
• Stakeholder engagement including liaison with external auditors

Applications are welcomed from Fully Qualified accountants who are experienced in month end. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills able to successfully liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will have good knowledge of accounting systems, controls, and processes, able to identify and map out weaknesses. Lastly, the post holder will have good IT skills and be proficient in Excel. Salary bracket: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a.
